About Me
Hi! My name is Amanda Wessel. I am the provider of Lilliput Lane Daycare! This is a new home daycare that is opening February 1st, 2010 in Lawrence, KS. Lilliput Lane Daycare is a Registered Daycare that must follow strict state licensing regulations to maintain a fun but healthy and safe environment for children.
Even though this is a new in-home daycare, my experience with children is vast! I am a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. I also have a Masters degree in social work and am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Kansas. I studied the physical and social development of children and family dynamics along with many other topics. I am also a First Aid and CPR instructor through the American Red Cross. I have worked with children for the past four years in a professional setting as a social worker.
My goal is to provide a loving in-home environment to your child so they can reach their maximum potential. I will focus on educational activities, art, and a place for social interaction between all age groups. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your child!
